Sloppy Joes

1 lb hamburger meat
onion or dried onion flakes
salt
pepper
Sloppy Joe Sauce

Coat a skillet with Pam or a little oil. Salt and pepper the meat and brown for about 10 min. Break into smaller pieces and add about ½ cup chopped onion (less if they are dried) and cook until onions are clear and meat is browned. Drain excess grease. Add sauce and simmer.

Sloppy Joe Sauce

1 small can tomato sauce
½ - 1 cup catsup
½ cup barbeque sauce or ½ tsp. smoke extract
1 tsp. mustard
1 Tbsp oil

Mix all ingredients until well blended. Proportions are not critical. You may use more or less of each depending on taste. Makes enough for 1-2 lbs of meat. Store leftover sauce in fridge.

NOTE: I would like to edit this recipe so it flows better. Any ideas? -Kimmie
