Sugar Cookies

1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp vanilla
4 cups. flour

Preheat oven to 375 F.
Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add milk, baking powder, vanilla, and flour. Chill for 2 hours. Roll out ¼ to ½ inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Top with sugar or sprinkles. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Note:
Chilled dough can be formed into 1 inch balls and flattened with a glass dipped in sugar. Decorate with sugar or sprinkles and bake.
