Strawberry Pie

1 -2 pints fresh strawberries (or 1 pkg frozen)
1&1/2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp corn starch (or flour)
1 pkg (4 oz) strawberry jello
2 baked 8 inch pie shells


Heat oven to 400 F. Bake two small 8 inch pie shells for 10 – 15 min. Cool. Wash, drain, and slice strawberries into cool pie shell and set aside. In a sauce pan combine water, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Cook 2 minutes longer. Add 1 small pkg of strawberry jello. Stir until it dissolves. Pour while hot over berries. Chill in fridge until set. Top with whipped cream right before serving.
