Saucy Apple Swirl Cake

½ cup sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
1 box yellow cake mix
1&2/3 cup (1can) applesauce
3 eggs


Heat oven to 350 F. Mix the sugar and cinnamon. Grease a Bundt or tube pan and dust with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Blend the cake mix, applesauce and eggs until moistened. Then beat as directed on the package. Spoon half of the batter into pan. Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top of the batter. Then add the rest of the batter.
Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes and invert on plate.
